As I frequently point out, I was born in Saint Marys Hospital at Hayes and Stanyan streets in San Francisco. We moved to Santa Clara in 1966, but I still feel a connection to "The City". This page has a few links to sites that do a great job of telling us about everybody's favorite city. The pages that follow will explain how various streets got their names. And of course, this is still very much a "work in progress.
